The work of the master goldsmith Alessandro Dari absolutely impacted us in our latest visit to Firenze for Pitti Uomo.
Far away from the crowded touristic places of the city center, the “bellissima” Firenze still keeps the capacity of amazing the traveler in any hidden corner, any street or ancient palazzo.
This is the case of the museum atelier where Master Dari makes and shows his collections: an ancient loggia of the Nasi-Quaratesi palazzo where cloth and wool were dyed in the 1500’s.
The visit is a unique experience full of mysticism and alchemy in its pure state, from the incredible jewellery and sculpture pieces displayed in glass cabinets to the magic lights and music reflected in the ceilings: simply sublime.
Ancient techniques at the highest level, incredible talent and passion, undoubtedly an authentic inspiration…
